I'd say that this is more endurance/strength building than "muscle building" Marty, just think how easy it would be to pick your bike up and run with it after a program like this.

Muscle building needs a much more specific approach than this Wink

Well I'm allright for 48 straight off at the moment.

I'm not doing the challenge though, I'm trying to increase my bench press weight again at the moment through just flat barbell press and incline dumbell press.

48 Shocked I'll be happy if i can 48 come mid February,me and a lad i ride with quite regular both tried it yesterday afternoon to see how many we could manage i done 20 and he managed 30.I wouldn't care i spend a lot more time exercising than he does and expected to beat him Embarassed .Push Ups are not something i do on a regular basis mind.I'm planning to start a regular weights routine in gym as of next week,i've been looking at http://bodyforlife.com/index.asp which you mentioned in another post, try and pick up a few tips. The aim is to keep it simple but do it regular, see how it goes

The Body For Life is a great routine based on some very sound principles, you won't go far wrong by following it.

One of the main points about BFL is that it has a get in/get out of the gym approach, with a very solid, stuctured routine. This allows your time to be used to the max, with no standing around wondering what exercise to do next, or what weight to use.
Once you get your exercise/ weight ratio sorted you should be flying Wink

I'm also planning on using the bodyforlife approach from monday.
Where I work we have a small gym which I plan on using on lunch. I get bored with an hour break and end up starting work again after about 20 min break.
As gunner pointed out I like the get in get out approach
