Well, a double Coast to Coast is on the cards for September using a Carryfreedom Y-Frame trailer, camping you see.

So watch this space!

6 days in all. I have not decided on route, just going on day by day. But roughly the overnights could look like this.

Stockton on Tees - Middleton in Teesdale.
Middleton in Teesdale. - Little Blencow.
Little Blencow - Ennerdale Bridge.
Ennerdale Bridge - Kirkby Stephen.
Kirkby Stephen - Osmotherley.
Osmotherley - Robin Hood's Bay.

Well, the double coast to coast is looming ever closer. Route is sorted, just a matter of getting gear organised and checked over.

The C2C does pass very close to both Beamish Museum and Chester-le-Street nr to South Pelaw.

Although, I'm doing the Coast to Coast. I'm not doing the C2C proper, as from Sunderland to Whitehaven.

My route will start from Stockton on Tees, which is not really coastal, but it do. I am heading for Barnard Castle, Middleton in Teesdale and over Grains o' th' Beck which is pretty wild there. I will however be hitting sections of the C2C, here and there.

I will hit Whitehaven about Tuesday and head back to Robin Hood's Bay, via Pooley Bridge, Shap, Kirkby Stephen, Tan Hill, Reeth, Catterick Bridge, Osmotherley and through the Esk Valley for the coast on Friday.

I will be having a well earned pint in the Bay Hotel at the bottom of Robin Hood's Bay.

Anyone for the WheelWright's next year.

The double coast to coast is still on and would be a disapppointing not to do now.

Yes, not long now. Getting all the gear together and checkin' it over.

I'm not a fan of East-Enders, probably in the local pub @ 8 Smile
