Hello all!

I'm Ste, 27 years old and from Guisborough. The photos in the top bar of this website look familar - close to Guisborough?

I ride a Specialized Rockhopper, you might see me flying about the moors with my headphones in. Although maybe not recently as I fractured my thumb on Helvellyn in the summer, and was out of action for a while, and still haven't manged to get back on it!

Thanks for the warm wecome!

Yeah I'm lucky to live close to guisborough woods and moors, couldn't ask for much more!

So are you from Guisborough or travel here to bike? Personally I tend to get myself over the lakes, love the terrain over there. And the fact that you can get all the 'up' out of the way in the first half of your ride then all you've got is sweet downhill all the way back to the car / campsite / B&B!

Well, I'm pretty local. Local enough to ride to Gibber in 30 minutes and then get off road.

Plenty of riding for me over the Moors, but I had been planning a Helvellyn ride a few weeks ago which I had to postpone due to a sudden works meeting being called on the very day I was due to go over there. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

For me, with living in Bridlington I tend to do more local routes (around the Yorkshire Wolds, Scarborough, Dalby, Southern end of the moors). But I can usually find the time on a sunday Uni work permitting) to get alittle further afield. Looking forward to longer days in the spring/summer when I want to do more in the lakes, dales and the Peak District.

Matt.

Yeah, me too I'm looking forward to longer days already... it's sad isn't it lol!

It's difficult to fit rides in atm, having only a few hours on Sat and Sun. Of course the ski season is now upon us and I love skiing too!
