BMR Joined: 10 Aug 2008 Posts: 96 Location: Notts/Derby	Posted: Mon Nov 03, 2008 9:51 pm    Post subject: Hi urban welcome to the forum, I am in North Notts not far from J28 m1, i have just taken up riding again after a 30 year break, I am in my early 50s and am the first to say I am not fit so I tend to ride quite slow (appart from when my pads worn down on the Robin Hood moutain bike chalenge!!!!!!!). I am looking to doing a Peak District run next year and would like to go over the top of Kinder Scout but need to upgrade my bikes and get fitter first. _________________ B.M.R. Notts/Derby

I ride a gt avalanche 1 with upgraded hydrolic disk brakes. I tend to do alot of riding in nottingham but i have visited edale.
