Once you move past the point of 3 bedroomed houses, whether detatched or semi, the value of that property does not increase or decrease in an equivalent relationship to 3 bedroom or less property.

I am working on the assumption that you are moving from a 3 bedroom to a larger property.

Also 2 things to bear in mind, the North East is still very much experiencing diffeent trends to house pricing than the rest of the U.K., it is however very much a "buyers market" due to misunderstandings regarding the current economic climate.

The other is not to believe "all" the hype regarding the "alleged" credit crunch, but to use this info to your own economic advantage Wink
