so then, got a pair of maviv Ksyrium's on my cross bike, there realy good road racing wheels and pritty light, there worth new between £400 and £500's but with using them for the cross the rims are realy worn

so at the end of the season am thinking of getting a new set of rims for them, which are £40 each, and about £20 to build them (nooo am not that confident at building wheels yet Laughing )

i think this is a good idea, paying about £100 to get them back into road racing shape, then i dont have to pay up to £400 for a pair of good road racing wheels at the same weight

so then you's think this is a good idea to Question Question Question

You are using Ksyriums on a cross bike? Why? They are very light road wheels built for speed and climbing. I have the latest ones £600 and worry about riding them on the roads
