Hello guys. Just registered over here after seeing one of Gunner's post over on Cycle Chat.

Mostly ride on the road. I live in Ingleby Barwick and get out on a Sunday morning for 30 to 40 miles during the winter, a bit further in the summer. Will try to join one of the road rides soon.

10% discount at Biketraks too!! Another excuse to buy cycle kit!!

Yep, 2. I have a late 1980's Raleigh, which I use as my commuter/winter bike, and an Airbourne Ti framed bike for the summer.

I am also thinking about getting a fixed wheel bike for commuting on.

It's a Valkaire. It is a really nice bike, had it for about 5 or 6 years now and it still looks great. It's a much better bike than I am a cyclist, but I took the opportunity to treat myself before I had kids!!

Well if you can't make it, keep your eyes on the Forum for the next ride.

Hopefully, once the Spring arrives next year we'll start our evening group rides up again, as well as Sunday mornings Wink

Will do Gunner.

The rides look like what I am after, start fairly early and back before lunch (aka family friendly!!). I am starting to get a bit sick of riding on my own, especially now the weather has turned, so it would be great to meet up.

Out of interest what sort of speeds do you do?

All totally dependent on who is riding, we can hammer it a bit or take it fairly easy. As a general rule of thumb our pace would be that which is just pushing the weakest member of the group a bit.

Plus, we like to have a bit of craic as we ride, and if HarryB rides, there is generally more than a bit, Harry has some fantastic anecdotes from his training experiences and is also a wealth of training information Wink
