website says they will travel though sedgefield (Past race course), then head towards fishburn (salters lane)B1278, then trimdon, and onto A181 durham.

I've got my parking space sorted then, as long as they don't close the road off much beforehand.

Just got back from watching it pass through Sedgefield, I've never seen so many police vehicles! (mainly motorbikes).

the roads were shut off about 15mins before they were due to come through, a few of the eon sponsor cars came past, a couple of the support cars, then a commentating car telling the spectators there was 3 riders up front away from the main group, they came through a few mins later.

Then a huge group of outriders and support cars followed by the main group of riders, lot of them seemed to be crusing along and chatting to each other.

Was really good to be there, never seen a cycle race before, pretty good turnout considering it was only a village on the route, a group of local schoolkids, rest were mainly old people.
